It's a wrap for Bike Wise

After more than a decade in the saddle, Bike Wise is parking up from 30 June 2016.
The NZ Transport Agency, which runs Bike Wise, is developing a summer programme aimed at inspiring people to try cycling or cycle more. This programme will complement existing activity that encourages people to share New Zealand’s roads and pathways.  As part of its cycling programme, the NZ Transport Agency is also focusing on supporting councils to develop behavioural change programmes that encourage people to get about by bike and build community support. These programmes will complement the Urban Cycleways Projects many councils are delivering.
